田臥トーク

昨日、アメリカ人の田臥を見る目を紹介したが、今日は、英文の田臥情報を複数掲載。

"I would hope that he makes it...but I would say the odds are against him. I was a former baller (D-1) back in the US for a well known University---but I didnt do much for the team!!--- and have played against a few of the players here in the JBL. Tabuse is good, but I would have to say this is more for publicity than anything else. You give him a try and then let him go. Gives him experience, you get an extra body for training camp, and sell a few jerseys and get your players known in Japan (good for Carmelo' s rep). Unfortunately, he will never beat out Andre Miller or Earl Boykins. His only hope is to be 3rd PG off the bench which he will have to play better than Harrington. Best of Luck, but he isnt even close to being the best in the JBL. "
--僕も彼を応援しているけど、難しいと思う。アメリカでは、ディビジョン１の有名校でバスケとボールチームでプレーし、日本ではJBLの選手ともプレーした事がある経験上の話をさせてもらえば、田臥は良いプレーヤーだけど、広告として田臥が呼ばれているだけだと思う。彼にプレーさせて、それで終わり。ジャージーも売れるし、自分達のチームも日本で有名になれる。それに、田臥は、『JBLにおいてだって、ベストプレーヤーからは程遠いプレーヤーだよ』

--日本でプレーするのは、簡単だったよ。だって、好きな事し放題だったもん。でも、ここでは違う。みんながすばらしいプレーヤーで、早くて強い。
↑これって、上の上のコメントとは逆の内容。日本での彼のプレーは見ていないけど、そうなると、全日本でも断トツの彼のプレーが見れるのだろう。ちょっと期待。

いずれにしても、田臥がんばれ！！　君の母校のBYUハワイ校でも、同校の同窓生（？卒業はしていないと思うけど）としては初のNBA選手の誕生に沸いている！
